U Turn is an interestingly strange but good 1997 romantic comedy crime thriller film directed by Oliver Stone. Based on the book Stray Dogs written by John Ridley. Ann and I did enjoy the movie U Turn, however it is probably best described as a black comedy. It has its funny parts, but other parts that are a little odd and frustrating too. Having lived in central Arizona for over 4 years, I’ve traveled through similar small towns such as Superior, but never came across any of the stereotypical characters found in U Turn. It is not movie to be taken too seriously, this one is strictly in the name of entertainment. If you like to watch a wide variety of movies like Ann and I, then we recommend you take a look at this movie at least once in your life. Although it is probably not a movie worth buying to keep in your own personal movie collection.
