Red Dog is a 2011 Australian comedy-drama family film written by Daniel Taplitz, directed by Kriv Stenders and produced by Nelson Woss and Julie Ryan.

Starring Koko as Red Dog, Josh Lucas, Rachael Taylor, John Batchelor, Noah Taylor, Keisha Castle-Hughes, Loene Carmen, Luke Ford, Neil Pigot, Rohan Nichol, Tiffany Lyndall-Knight, Costa Ronin with Eamon Farren and Arthur Angel.

The film is based on a true story from the novel Red Dog by Louis de Bernieres about Red Dog.

This is a movies you and your family absolutely need to see.  Not to mention, this movie is a keeper, add it to your personal movie collection, you will not regret the cost of the DVD.  Ann and I both highly recommend Red Dog, not only as an Australian movie, but as western feature movies go, this one is gold.
