Garden State is a 2004 romantic comedy-drama movie written and directed by Zach Braff. Starring Natalie Portman, Peter Sarsgaard, Ian Holm and Zach Braff. There is even a small role played by Jim Parsons from Big Bang Theory.
Zach Braff plays the main character, Andrew Largeman, is a 26-year-old actor/waiter returning home in New Jersey to attend his mothers funeral. The movie is based on his own personal experience.
